2018 Days for Girls Underwear Drive

Days for Girls is a non-profit organisation that makes and distributes menstrual health kits for girls who are unable to access feminine hygiene products all over the world. These kits contain reusable menstrual pads, panties, soap, and other items. By providing them with a sustainable way to manage their menstruation, girls are able to continue on with their normal lives every month without having to hide themselves away.

This year, Days for Girls is asking for more underwear donations to put in their kits! Here are the specifications for donations:
- 100% cotton
- Women’s sizes 10, 12, 14
- Regular shape (preferably hipster/demi-brief underwear )
- Darker colours and patterns, no animal prints
- NEW underwear (we recommend going to Kmart, Target etc. and getting packs of multiple)

They would also appreciate donations of fine patchwork cotton fabric (with the same colour preferences).

We will be collecting donations throughout the month of May! Underwear and fabric donations can be handed into the donation boxes located on level 4 of Building 69 at the SoM reception and in the common area. Label the donation with your year level and CBL.

There are prizes to be won for the CBL class that donates the most undies!

You may also make a monetary donation directly to Days for Girls Australia.
