This year in association with HEALTHABITAT we will be competing in a nation-wide aid workshop (based in Brisbane) that aims at designing suitable water storage systems that maximise on water conservation and increased hygiene and cleanliness for implementation in rural Ethiopia.
Our aim is to reduce the incidence of Trachoma (& subsequent blindness) and other hygiene borne diseases that can dramatically improve the standards of living in these areas. It is a 2 day workshop that will take place in April/May.
If you’re interested in participating or want to know more about the project just send us a message at firstname.lastname@example.org, with your full name and a few short sentences about why your interested and what you can bring to the project team.
Anyone with a design or engineering history or interest in the area, this is a great opportunity to combine the two, though we want to hear from everybody who is interested and are enthusiastic about this project!
The work they do is truly amazing and you can check them out here:
This is truly is one of those rare opportunities where something you can do today can make a difference tomorrow!
